Education at Grace
Children's Education: The Education Team at Grace works diligently to create a safe and warm environment to promote the teachings of the Church. The Children's Education team is led by Paula Noyce-Rung who manages the curriculum, crafts, and associated activities for the children of Grace. Children gather for the Children's message with Pastor Yaba to receive a central message from worship and a blessing to follow them in their time in Sunday School.
Adult Education opportunities are planned throughout the year, offering a series of bible study programs. These programs are often offered in the evening hours to allow for greater participation among working individuals. All are welcome to attend.
Children Support Heifer International
The children of Grace embarked upon a mission to serve Heifer International when they organized a bake sale to raise $250. With the support of the children and their parents, cookies, cupcakes, bars, and an assortment of baked goods were prepared for sale. The inspiration came from the children as the March mission for the greater church was with the Heifer organization. The goal was to raise enough for a water buffalo, with anticipation of earning even more to give to the international organization.
Heifer serves 19 countries around the world to work with local farmers and business owners in support of improving both the quantity and quality of food produced. Monies donated to Heifer not only provides for support with crops and animals, they also provide training in an effort to sustain long-term impact.
